Washington (Reuters) - The United States spends far more on health care than any other country but gets only mediocre care in return for its investment, according to a report released on Wednesday.... Even adults with private health insurance or Medicare do not get life-saving and money-saving care much of the time, the report found. "Barely half of adults (49 percent) received preventive and screening tests according to guidelines for their age and sex," the report read.
